SCOPE AND PURPOSE: Performing machine maintenance and repair on plastic injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment like robots, chillers, and thermolators.

Essential functions:

• Repairing, troubleshooting, and inspecting all mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Performing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on machines and robots according to specifications
• Regularly checking heater bands, rings, and pulling screws or barrels
• Safely utilizing the proper equipment to access jobs to both remove and install parts

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior plastic injection molding maintenance experience (required)
• Ability to follow established procedures, read blueprints and maintain accurate records
• Understanding of auxiliary, electrical and hydraulic equipment, robots and machines
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Physical Demands of position:

• Ability to work in loud manufacturing environment
• Occasional need to bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent walking / standing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
